As we know, it is vital to relieve your pain as soon as possible. Your initial consultation at Axis Chiropractic will include a treatment. Our chiropractors are qualified to refer for further diagnostic examinations, including X-rays (which are bulk billed), CT scans, MRI and ultrasounds. This helps us focus on delivering accurate diagnoses and uncover any structural and functional problems associated with the spinal column so that we can determine and address the cause of your pain.

Take Advantage of Your Health Fund
Axis Chiropractic is highly regarded by many private health funds and has been approved to be the only chiropractic practice in Cairns to be a Members’ Choice Provider. We are also endorsed by BUPA and are Member’s First Providers. This means Medibank Private and BUPA members have less out-of-pocket expense at Axis Chiropractic than any other chiropractor in Cairns and the surrounding areas.
In some cases, BUPA members have absolutely no out-of-pocket expense for their treatments. Axis Chiropractic has also been recognised as the only chiropractic clinic in Cairns to be involved in HCF’s More for Backs program. HCF Members have no out-of-pocket expense for their initial consultation.
Axis Chiropractic utilise the HICAPS electronic claims and payment system which offers you the convenience of automatic claims processing on the spot. It means that if you have private health cover, you can forward the payment your private health fund pays to us so that you only need to pay the gap. This means no need to take or send your receipt to your private health fund and having to wait a long time to receive your rebate.
